As the Philippines celebrate the 34th National Statistics Month, the Municipality of Jordan also joined the celebration with this year’s theme; Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for Healthy Philippines.

The nation is gearing up for a unique and creative approach to promote statistical awareness. Alongside a myriad of seminar, workshops, and data-related events, the Philippine Statistics Authority together with LGU Jordan featured two exciting contests: a Photography Competition where different individuals from Jordan took part and a Poster Making Contest, which showcased the creativity and talent of the participants from the elementary schools in the District of Jordan I. Each participant was given the opportunity to express their creativity in connecting statistics with art.

The winners of the competition received cash prizes, tokens, and certificates.

The Photography Competition and Poster Making Contest in the 34th National Statistics Month serves as a powerful reminder that statistics are not confined to spreadsheets and charts; they are living, breathing elements that impact our daily lives. Through the lens of the camera or the stroke of a brush, these contests breathe life into the world of statistics, making it accessible and relatable to all.
